- Manual lifting appliance – Safe Lifting Kit
- Pre use checks of lifting gear
- Planning the lift 9-point plan
Practical
- Risk assessment overview
- Pre-use check of Scaffolders Safe Lifting Kit
- Anchor point selection & rigging of scaffolders Safe Lifting Kit
- Safe slinging of scaffold tubes & boards - performing a lift & lower

- Manual lifting appliance (Safe Lifting Kit)
The course is suitable for scaffolders or managers who are required to plan safe lifting operations within their role.
Pre-requisites
- Delegates must be 18 years and over.
- All delegates must be able to certify they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them carrying out lifting techniques. (A list of conditions that could affect practical training is available upon request.)
