Course Aims
This course will provide delegates with improved and refreshed knowledge of recent developments in construction, legislation and health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. It will also allow delegates to identify measures which will assist the practical implementation of responsibilities established by new legislation and working practices.
This remote learning and examination option for the market-leading Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SSSTS) course has been created to allow delegates to gain and develop the required knowledge outside of the classroom.
Please Note: The minimum age of attendance for this course is 16 years old, however delegates who are under the age of 18 must bring a completed parental consent form to the first day of the training course.
This attracts a CITB Short Course Duration Grant at Tier 2 - 50%, with a value of £120. Please see the Grants and Funding tab for further information.
Microsoft Teams MUST be installed beforehand to ensure you can participate successfully.

Now Available
- You can now book your Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) CSCS Operatives Touchscreen Test through HSS Training.
The Operatives test ensures workers have a minimum level of health, safety and environmental awareness before going on site. To apply for a CSCS Labourers Green card, delegates will need to successfully complete both the Operatives HS&E test and the Site Safety Plus Health & Safety Awareness course, holding both valid certificates. CSCS cards provide evidence that individuals working on construction sites have the appropriate training and qualifications for the job they do on site, and contractors or clients in the UK require workers to hold a card before they are granted access to a site.
Classroom Training
This course is also available as a full-day classroom based CITB - Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SSSTS) course, please click here to find out more and view classroom dates.
The training and examination for this course will be delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams, but will follow the same curriculum as the classroom SSSTS Refresher course and the same standard of training will be delivered, meeting all Scheme Rules.
