Personal Track Safety (PTS) - Initial Assessment Day (Practical Event) A track safety course that provides the mandatory qualification, knowledge and understanding to work safely on or near the railway.

Who Should Attend


Anyone who needs to work on the Network Rail controlled railway infrastructure.

Attendance Requirements

Delegates must be sponsored by an approved organisation, be registered on the Sentinel Database and must be a minimum age of 16, meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Medical Fitness Level 1 and meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/ L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol). Delegates must have successfully completed the PTS e-learning component which must also be entered into the NCCA database prior to attendance.
